• The Kooks’ debut album Too Much Is Not Enough was released on September 15.

• The first single Too Much Of Nothing sold gold in Sweden and did well in both Denmark and Holland.

• The album was produced in co-operation with Johan Nilsson of This Perfect Day.

• The album cover was designed by Peter Engqvist, who also worked on the Manic Street Preachers latest album cover.

Robbie Williams is a pal of The Kooks after they nearly performed together at the Cirkus venue in Stockholm. Unfortunately Robbie fell ill and had to cancel his gig. However, The Kooks still played tru to form.

• When not rehearsing, the band members like to drink Jamaican rum and listen to soppy love songs by favourite Canadian Ron Sexsmith.
