Partly overlapping radiographs of the upper, middle and lower part of core 491 from a depth of 36 m in the northern part of the bay Nylandsfjärden, just downstream the submarine delta of the river Ångermanälven. Observe the rather compact and thick turbidite layers formed in 1967.

The turbidites in 1967 are the result of the submarine slides, which occurred at the end of March, when large and rapid water-level variations were recorded at the delta front.
