Lake Grycken
Three sediment cores ( 670 - 672) were sampled in this lake in 1981-04-14 and two more (cores 1084 and 1085) in 1985-04-07.

Radiographic comparison between the upper part of cores 671 and 672 from a depth of 18 and 19 m respectively in the southern part of Lake Grycken.
In these cores the border is sharp between the lower bioturbated and the upper laminated parts. The layering is somewhat distorted due to the formation and expansion of gas bubbles after sampling, which resulted from the reduced hydrostatic pressure and temperature rise.
