
Step 2 has no theory. Instead you drive a session and get advice in the pit between the
sessions. Again the last session was timed. I improved a lot from step 1 after having
struggled on (and sometimes off) the track all day.

Between the sessions there is a lot of talk. Everyone is excited, there is always
something you have to say or ask.

Here I'm first of the pack to enter the pits.

It's a beautiful piece of machinery. Everything is there for a purpose, no extras. The
gear box is at the absolute rear of the car. It's a 4-speed, straight-cut, no sync
gear box. That means you have to start the engine with first gear because you
can't put it in gear standing still.
