Erik & I formed our first band together in 1989, SCAPEGOAT PALACE. We soon changed name to Victorian Tin and the Cambridge based recordlabel "Everlasting" showed interest in the band. Everlasting released a 7-track cassette by the band at the end of 1990 that was released in both England and Germany. Tony Jenkins, head of Everlasting Records, wrote following about the band.
"Victorian Tin hail from Karlstad,
a small town in Sweden. The band sent us a demo, which so impressed us that
we suggested they compile a cassette of some of their songs which we could release
to introduce them to a wider audience. The incredible thing, regarding these
demos, is that they were recorded at home on a four-track portastudio and the
thought of what the band could achieve in a proper studio, as hopefully they
will one day for Everla
sting, is very exciting!
These songs show an incredible maturity in their arrangement, for a young band
that only recently (with the acquisition of new members Lina - vocals, flute,
keyboards and guitarist Johan) started playing live." (Tony Jenkins, Everlasting

The cassette included the songs: Agony Flower, Alienation, Lonely Days, Fragments Of Roses, Silvery Mouths, In My Rainy Weather, The Days Of Youth.
After a couple of years the band split and it wasn't until 1998 we began playing together again.
This time under the name EPHEMERON.
