This is the homepage of a guy, who I miss very much...

... i.e. my cat. These pictures are the only
things I have left of him, as I've had to give him away. Thanks must go to my buddy Peter
Bornhall, who took them! The only way we could get him on film was to hold him real tight,
so my apologies for that. No animals were actually hurt during this photo session. ;)
Isn't he cute, though?! :)
Sudden and his brother Alfons (of whom I
don't have any pictures, sadly) moved in with me in August 1995, when they were but two
months old. Alfons moved out after the first year, because of differences in opinion
between him and me, regarding plants, furniture a.s.o. (Alfons thinks that such stuff
should be ripped apart, or at least disabled, on sight. I don't agree.) Then, when I moved
to Gothenburg, Sudden also had to move, but not to the same address. He moved in with my
mom in Kuleskog (Bulletwood). Mom has recently sold the house, but Sudden still resides
there. More on this further down...
Sudden and Alfons have given me many memorable moments, such as
the time Sudden rearranged some potplants all over the livingroom table or when he escaped
through the window and wouldn't come back in before he had been thoroughly beat up by the
neighbours' cat.
Alfons gave me a good chuckle when he accidentally ran into the wrong appartment one time
after a little stroll. The door was open and Alfons went through it at apx. 80mph. I went
after him just as he realized his mistake and doubled back, skidding across the floor in
the neighbours' appartment, eyes wide open and paws clawing wildly at the wooden floor. He
was pretty winded when I finally got hold of him and picked him up.
Sudden used to sleep in my bookcase, behind the books. Probably the only place in my
one-room appartment where he could get some peace and quiet. People were always petting
him and fondling him, which is pretty OK when you're in the mood, but if you're not...
rrrrgh! He also liked stretching himself out across the top of the bookshelf, like a
mighty lion on a cliff and looking down on me when I went about my petty business. He let
me understand that while he accepted my being around, I shouldn't get any cute ideas
regarding who was boss in the house. :)
When we were living together,
Sudden used to eat Smukkas (Norwegian pet food), potato crisps and ants (in the patio),
among a variety of things. He always liked scratching at windows (No, not Windows),
toying with carpets and generally screwing up everything else in the house. He has an
adorable way of cuddling, where he strokes his head against your cheek, all the while
purring manically. He can also meow in a way that sounds very much like he's talking to
you. I love this little furry companion and was heart-broken when I had to give him up.
However, I take comfort in the knowledge he now leads a much richer life at my mom's old
place in the woods of Kuleskog (Bulletwood?). Also he has my mom's old cat Felix for a
companion, who's twice his weight and age. They both used to go absolutely nuts whenever I
visited them. I miss them terribly, and it breaks my heart knowing I will probably never
see them again in my life... :¨(
