The X-Men
The X-Men is set in a not to distant future. A future where mutants, people with extraordinary powers, has been began to show their pressence in the world. As a result, normal people has come to fear and hate mutants because their are different and has increedible powers that frigthens ordinary men. Mutants are being feared, hated, harassed, etc. thoughout the world. Professor Charles Xavier, one of the world's leading experts on mutants and self a mutant with enormous psyhic powers. Professor Xavier has a dream, a dream of a world where humans and mutants can live in peace, harmony and understanding. However the world is far from Xavier's dream, so Charles Xavier searches the world for young mutants, taking them under his wings and teach them about his dream and to use their powers for the greater good of world. They became the X-Men. But not all mutants agree with Xavier's dream of peace and harmony between mutants and the rest of humanity. Some believes that mankind's day on Earth are over and the mutants, as the next step in human evolution is designated to rule over the humans. One of manin believers of this line is Magneto, a mutant with the ability to create magnetic fields and control metal. Magneto is also and old friend of Xavier but somewhere down the line of their friendship they went seperated ways. The X-Men has battled Magneto and his underlings many times, but they have also fought against other mutants, superhumans, robots, aliens and saved the world a couple of times. However there is lot more to be made before Xavier's dream of peace and harmony.
