Tapanis own words about the story behind the video from Helsinki 1983

Tony Iommi"I knew the guy who filmed the show very well. We used to swap videos and live tapes of different bands mainly Purple/Rainbow/Sabbath in early 80's. I met him several times between 1981 and 1984. The first private video he made was the Rainbow concert at the UKK Hall in Helsinki on June 7th, 1981. The filming of this footage is very, very bad. This bootlegger was scared of the security in the hall and kept his camera in hide for most of the time. This is probably the worst private film I have ever seen The second show he captured on video was Rainbow's 1982 show at the Ice Hall in Helsinki on November 3rd, 1982. Clearly better production, still hand held camera, a bit shaky etc.” Ian Gillan
“In 1983, he managed to get his portable VHS recorder and camera into Jäähalli to film Sabbath but problems started at the very beginning. One of the security guards noticed the camera and started following him. However, he still managed to shoot approximately. 12 minutes of the show. If one understands Finnish, you can hear in one part of the film where the security guy is yelling "kamera pois", which means put that camera away! The guy had just obtained a new camera for his VHS recorder.

If recorded properly, without interruption from the security this video would have been a killer one!”
