This is the situation, my mommy has got the idea that it´s fun to do "things" together……and then we´re not talking about the new Olympic Games style "Chase a tiny tibetan" (which is hilarious!!!), but "things" that people do.
So, this page contains a little bit of everything that me and my mommy do together…..for example exhibitions/shows and other outgoing themes.
2002-07-27 Tammsvik(fd.Skokloster) Wolfhounds only
- - Here I´m 4 1/2 months old and doing my first show(mommy too for that matters). I don´t know if you can tell…but it was real fun...-really!! Especially when I was running and all the people clapped their hands....
- - The result..??! Well, I became BM-puppie, BOB-puppy and BIS 1- puppy and mommy turned nuts … if you could say so. It was only thanks to "grandmommy Maja" and a very experienced ring secretary that there was any order at all around us. And that we thank you for!
- Judge of the day was Tuula Savolainen/Finland.
- Critic: "Excellent type, good skeletal structure. Lovely head and expression, good ears. Lovely topline. Good angles back and front. Lovely temperament. Very promising."
- This is from our trip to Enköping 13/10-02 Sighthounds
- This day I became BOB- puppy……mommy, proud as usual!
- Judge was Markku Mähönen/Finland (wolfhounds), the name of the woman in the big ring (BIS),- unfortunately, I can´t remember….. But she was a nice person, it´s the lady in red up in the left corner.
- My sister Fröjel was also there, she is a fun and beautiful girl….she´s the one kissing/chewing on me, up, to the right.
- Critic: "Lovely type. Very good line and length of body, very good lines of head, very balanced in muzzle and skull. Very good neck and topline. Very promising in chest, good bone and very well angulated behind. Moves typically for that age. Very promising."
- The week after that it was time for Karlstad. 19/10-02 Wolfhounds only
- Let me tell you….. Mommy and me started up real early that day to make it on time, what a trip... Already there was uncle Baron, father Dexter a.s.o. The show was held in a riding-school, and I´m telling you....the people acted very strange. Jumped and clapped hands all the time.....I don´t know what kind of game that was but I was not late to catch up. It was probably a new game invented that day to make us more excited. And that we was.
- On this very strange day, I became BIS-3 puppy…..do I need to say what mommy became, -no, she did not turn BIS-4 but very proud as usual. (I wonder if that is the case always, even when she calls me the crocodile and stands strong with her arms crossed over her chest....-yes, that´s probably the way it is!!!).
- Judge for the day was Helén Wieslander.
- Critic: Mommy has managed to do the only thing you´re not allowed to do...misplace the critic for that day. Shame on her.....
Stora Stockholm/ Hund 2002 , SKK´s parad....
- Well well, -now she has done it (mommy that is), she´s been on adventures without me!!!
- To tell you the truth, I was too young to participate...though that was mommys plan from the beginning, she wanted me to experience the atmosfair around the show without having to take part..... Well she had to go without me, instead she brought Sibylla (isn´t she gorgeous?!). I bet it was thanks to Sibylla that mommy and her where to become "the shows bride in green". -I have no idea what daddy thinks of mommy in green like that.....Chances are he´ll never propose after this??!
- Critic: (From Hundsport nr 1-2/2003) "...and her too A "dangerous" kind, with waist-long black hair, knee-high boots and a lot of bare skin to the very much green, ballet-dancer-skirt in tulle".
- Can you imagine.....even the "two-legged" get critics, and mommy too....-crazy!?
After nearly six months of vacation, it was time again......
- Köping 22/3-03 Sighthounds
- Listen to this, now when I´m (almost) a big boy I get to play with the even larger boys and girls, and that my friends made my start this year great! I became BM 3......and as usual, -mommy= proud. But as if that was not enough, I also managed to get the BOB-junior title of the day and that lead me to compete with the other sighthound breeds in the BIS, and I got the BIS-3 place!!! -What a great day.......
- Judging this day did : Annika Ultveit-Moe (Wolfhounds) and Marc Coccozza (BIS Junior). -Thank you so much!!!
- -Congratulations to the rest of the family members who was there, I think you too had a great day.
- Critic: "Junior, well up in size, very well-lined and proportional, good head, slightly large ears. Deep chest, enough mass for his age, on his way to fine fur. Powerful legs and fine paws. Moves very parallel and with fine pace/step. A dog with a lot of humor".
Come along next week, then we´ll travel to Timrå.
TIMRÅ 29/3-03 Sighthounds
- This time we packed for a longer trip, and with us came "grandmommy Maja" and father Dexter. We stayed the night in Bergsjö, with daddies parents (and of course the horse-Peggy, the donkey-Kotten, the dogs -Kayo and Kaj, the cats - Musse and Findus), and then the next morning we continued to the show-ground in Timrå.
- There was 17 wolves entering. This day I was placed BM-junior and that was it! There was no junior female to compete against. And they didn´t have a BIS-junior class.....so now we learned something new: there is not always a class for everything at every show.
- Oh, I also got an HP......don´t ask me what that is called in English, that is a much later lesson. Still, we are very satisfied with the results.
- Judging was: Eli-Marie Klepp/Norway
- Critic: "A large magnificent male, who is still developing. Very elegant head with excellent "crest of neck", good skeletal structure, well angulated, fine paws. Moves pretty steady for such a large dog in this age, has a nice drive from the side. Well shown".
"Lilla Stockholm"/Älvsjö 20/4-03
- Finally I´m old enough to participate in these a little bit larger shows. This particular day, there were 11 members of the family entering.....great!!
- Congratulations to father Dexter, who did very well (BM-2) and to aunt Gaia who did even better (BOS).....and not to forget, Humle who became BOB-puppy......-CONGRATULATIONS!!!
- So, how did I do ....?! Well, I earned the BM-junior "title" and I also got a HP.....and for that we are happy.
- Judge that day was: Hans Lehtinen
- Critic: Very well sized, beautiful stature. Nice head, elegant neck. Good topline. Good frame, but in a bit lanky phase.
VÄSTERÅS 26/4-03
- Yesterday, we made one of our "weekend - trips"....this time to Västerås. We were in a "indoor-football-arena".........cool floor, it was like lime-green grains all over. My friend Herodes looked like he had put his head in the candy-crumb box. The rest of the family was of course there allready.........or at least some of them.
- We were the first one´s to enter the ring this day, first of the wolfhounds that is, it was a little bit nervous but we made it.
- The result : BM-Junior + HP and as usual very happy!!!
- Judge of the day was Agneta Kappers
- Critic: Powerful, maskulin, wellbuilt male with good head and expression. Well enough angulated front, excellent topline with generous length in body. Enough chest, good hind quarters.....very generous movements.
