Uncurbed will enter the Black-Lounge Studio, 18-20 October, and smash 6 to 8 new songs for a 7" and for a split 7" with Autoritär. The Ep will be released by [Devils Shitburner Records] and the split by [Yellow Dog]. Release-dates will be announced later... It seems like the "Ackord För Frihet" will be released in Jan 2003!!! Some updates have been added. Steffe is now within the Family section and The Story is updated. The Uncurbed family are proud to present our new singer Steffe Pettersson (also in DISKONTO and mighty SPORTLOV) who will do his very first gigs with Uncurbed this weekend. He have replaced Jens Törnroos who decided to leave the family during personal reasons earlier this year. Uncurbed will go on stage at 22:00 tomorrow before Dead Kennedys. On Saturday, at Rockaway Beach, Uncurbed will play at 22:00. So prepare for an hell of a peaceshow! Be there in time! UNCURBED are now also confirmed to play at the classical free-festival [Rockaway Beach] in Norberg(SWE) 20th July. Come and join us! Unfortunately, Uncurbed was printed on a poster for a gig at Eldslandet (Jönköping) last Saturday 25th of May. We were asked for that gig for 3 weeks ago, but sadly we couldn't go. So we hope they have explain it for you who were there... Uncurbed would like to thanx Tonje & Ragnar and all at UFFA in Trondheim for a great weekend! Thanx goes also to Ove who let us sleep in his nice house, thanx again for the sandwiches! ;) And of course to all great people who we met... see you next time in Norway! Now we will rehearsal with our new vocalist and make some new songs. We will also try to get some more gigs in Scandinavia and after the summer probably a little European-tour, but nothing is booked yet... We will travel to Trondheim tomorrow and we are charged for the "Pøbelrocken"(UFFA) gig on Saturday. This will be the first gig without Jens but TB is prepared for handling all the vocals... Norway here we comes! Uncurbed have found a new 2nd vocalist, but since we haven't rehearse with him yet we don't want to tell you who it is... I'm sure that he fits in the Uncurbed family!! The UNCURBED are now confirmed to play on "Pøbelrock" in Trondheim/Norway on the 18th of May. Other bands who will play there are: LAME DUCKS, BLIZTERHEAD, KORUPTE OPPKASTERE... so be there!! Finally the cover for the longawaited "Ackord För Frihet" are on it's way. Robert Holmqvist is doing a excellent job as usual. We will send it right away to the labels asap so they can prepare to print the records. |

Sadly, this was Jens Törnroos last gig as a great vocalist with Uncurbed since 1992. He have declared that he wanted to quit for almost a year now, so we were prepared and very glad that he wanted to do the last gig at our Release-Party! We would like to thanx Jens for 10 unforgetable years that we have had together. All great tours and his amazing vocals on our records. So Uncurbed wishes you all the best in the future... Here's a new great review on "Punks On Parole" by Jeb. You have to marvel at UNCURBED's consistency. It's not only that they maintain their quality album after album, it's that they manage to outdo themselves each time. Punks on Parole is no exception, this is hands down my favorite UNCURBED album yet. They are faster and more pummeling than ever. The music is so think and driving that you've gotta hear it to believe it. UNCURBED is the MOTORHEAD of hardcore. Listening to this album is like taking a blowtorch directly to your brain. The flawless production is so loud, crisp and in-your-face that it sounds like a big-budget job comparable to what a major label could do although no major would touch this with a ten-foot pole. A candidate for album of the year and it's only January! |

UNCURBED will go in the studio ABYSS again. 1-4 February is the recordingdates for the upcoming album "Punx On Parole". It will contain 16 Punk/Rock'N'Roll songs in the true veins of UNCURBED. We want to welcome Jimmy Lind for joining the Uncurbed Family, 'cause Kenneth have decided to leave us...We want to thanx him for the great time we had and wish him good luck with CENTINEX in the future... Next plans will be: to record one song for "REALLY FAST Vol 11" in May and also work on a new CD/LP that hopefully will be recorded after this summer. Trying to get some gigs in Sweden & Finland...more news to come. After 11 days of drinking are UNCURBED back home for some rest. It was really a great tour and UNCURBED would like to thanx all of you who showed up on the gigs! Also many hugs to Sven, Lien, Peter and all the others who made this tour possible...Peace !! A BIG FUCK OFF TO!! him who robbed our bus on bassguitar, CD's, passports, clothes etc..in Amsterdam 4/5. But it's hard to live in the gutter, we know... Very good news for the Belgium-fans!! UNCURBED will play at the "Lintfabriek"/Kraakpand with STRATFORD MERCENARIES(UK) and SCARED OF CHAKA(US)!! They will also play 2 gigs on the same day in the Netherlands. First in Den Haag and then in Den Helder! So it would be nice if You can show up on the gigs with UNCURBED, and have a real punkparty somewhere on the tour...Cheers! Right now the tourdates are like the list below on this page. We're REALLY sorry that we now don't have any gigs in Belgium. From the beginning we have two gigs on the same day, but now we sadly have lost them both...We have really enjoyed to come Belgium for a punkparty on the stage...but next time we'll come!! The gig at Q-lturhuset wents out very well. It was very sad that Conny couldn't play because he was working. It WAS a hell of a party in Borlänge!! Uncurbed wants to appologize for the worst gig Uncurbed ever have done. Everyone(except Conny) was too drunk to be on a stage. They tried some songs but failed to come through a whole song. It was better to go off stage and party on instead. This will NOT happend again. Uncurbed will do a comeback on the DRILLER KILLER gig. It's a guarantee! Some gigs are on the way. UNCURBED will play in Borlänge 000318 with B.D.A., BUTCHER BOB & FIRST DEGREE MURDER in FDM's r-room. It will be a hell of a punkparty!
