Approaching the most dangerous part of the mission (ignoring the part of the tiger from the nearby ZOO being loose during the night), provisioning became top priority. Out there, you wont find a 7-11. Life as we know it, seize to exist. Careful planning of beer, beer and snacks achieved the full attention of the team.

The long journey before us, the adventures, the girls, the beer, the excitement! But once again nature brought us down to earth. The remains of the previous team was found. Or rather, the remains of their equipment. Of the team themselves, nothing was found... (3)

Wednesday - 1996-08-07

Finally on our way! Out to... eh... nothing?

Håkan (Light Effects), brings out one of his few, but deeply appreciated, smiles. Was this the effect the desolate nature brought out? A soft side of the otherwise oh-so-cold Håkan? We realised that maybe we had started something that not could be stopped. (See how the grass aims for his nose?)

Inside the delta of the swamp, the mosquitoes did everything they could to drain us of blood, but who cares when delicious dropped-in-the-fire hot-dogs and warm beer is on the menu! (6)

Thursday - 1996-08-08

Is it a mermaid? Is it a seal? NO! Its our friend JoLo that once again gives his tender skin a wash.

Let the battle commence! After a few days out in the open, then soon came the realisation that women was lacking, and lacking bad. Soon feuds grew within the team. JoLo and Bod even got down to a fearsome fight, over the virtue of an elk cow.

Some losses must be accepted. Lucky us it was only an elk cow.

The team (most of them) eagerly jumped into the water. Jumping in as proud individuals, they all ran like a group out of the fnurting cold water! (15°C/62°F) (4)
