What's new in RLTool 2.20

Revision history of RLTool.

In September 1997, the ITU-R issued version 7 of its Recommendation P.530. This version states substantial changes regarding the prediction of radio-relay paths and circuits, including

Also the formulae for calculating attenuations by atmospheric gases have been changed - Rec. P.676-3.
These new prediction methods and formulae resulted in a substantial modification of K&K Engineering’s planning tool for radio-relay circuits and networks – RLTool. All new methods and formulae recommended have been introduced in RLTool-PROPAC as version 2.2x.

Another improvement introduced in the program is the possibility to draw the Network Layout due to scale by including the sites’ co-ordinates.
This facility to draw the network due to scale can also be utilised for already existing data files of the type *.rl. These data files can also be recalculated in version 2.2x applying the new formulae and methods.
Note: If you run an existing *.rl file in version 2.2x, it cannot longer be run in earlier program versions! It’s advisable to copy the existing file and rename it in order to keep the earlier version unchanged.

An improved print routine provides for printing of
