Formula revision history
Version
2.02.3.16 22 November, 1998
Updating Formula with the latest RLTool 2.20.3.26. No new
functionality added. Formula complained over wrong version of
KKRLF151.DLL. This is now corrected.
Version
2.02.3.15 21 October, 1998
Minor corrections. Formulas dealing with co-ordinates did not
properly set the north-south and west-east radio buttons when
importing a rl-file. Also when importing a rl-file in Flat
Multipath fading Probability the path type was not correctly set.
Version
2.02.3.1 4 Jaunuary, 1998
The Flat Multipath fading Probability calculations is corrected.
Indata 'Mean water altitude' is added.
A new formula is introduced with Combined Space And Frequency
Diversity.
The Flat Multipath fading Probability calculations is corrected.
Indata 'Mean water altitude' is added.
RLTool project files from version 2.20 can now be read into
Formula.
Version
2.01 (2.01.3.1) 15 December, 1997
The 'Unavailability Due To Rain' and 'Rain Fading' dialogs are
merged to one, Unavailability and fading due to rain'.
Whenever a formula dialog is selected, the menu for that dialog
window is no longer grayed. But if that dialog already has been
opened and is selected once again, that dialog will brought to
the top.
The menu File | Close is now only enabled when a project with
paths is already opened in Formula.
Some input boxes has a help text connected to them, If 'F1' is
pressed and the input box is in focus (selected), a help text
will appear. But there is still work to be done.
Version 2.0
(2.00.3.3) 7 December, 1997
Formula is now a 32-bit program. It has all the features you
would expect from a Windows 95 program. This means it can not be
run from Windows 3.1.
Import a RLTool file. This loads the dialogs with the data
contained in the RLTool file. If a RLTool project contains many
paths, just select the appropriate path, and the formulas will be
loaded with that paths data.
It is updated with the latest from ITU.
Version
1.8b 26 May, 1995
Corrected a bug in the coordinate to distance dialog. This was
giving the wrong results west of the Greenwich longitude.
Version 1.8
March, 1995
This version was the first to be released outside of K&K
Engineering..
How to
interpret the version numbering:
The version numbers follow the format: A.BC.D.E
A is the major version of the program. Any increment here
reflects extensive changes. An upgrade of the HASP lock would be
neccessary.
B is represents functional changes. If a formula is changed by
ITU for instance, this would mean an increment step. An upgrade
of the HASP lock would be neccassary.
C is for minor changes, bug corrections, small improvements, etc.
An upgrade within A and B but and incremented C would not mean
any need for an upgrade of the HASP lock.
D represents the platform for which this program was built for.0
16-bit Windows, debug 1 16-bit Windows, target2 32-bit Windows,
debug 3 32-bit Windows, target 4 32-bit Windows multi-threaded,

E is for internal K&K Engineering use exclusive.
