Background & Research:
At the mid presentation I presented a concept that was based on research, interviews with eight persons in different ages, and my own subjective thoughts. The research also included a scan of today’s market and trends.
This is a product that will improve our lifes and give us great opportunities in everyday life. And the ground stone in the whole is the possibility to choose.
Goals:
My goal has been to make the server less dramatic and high-tech. I would like this to be a product that just blend in to the home, like a nice vase, a piece of art or something that fits your home best. It should be your choise if you want to hide it in a drawer, or put it in the living room as a status symbol. People want to be surrounded with objects that they can relate to, not because it contains the latest technology, but because they are attractive on its own.
Delimits:
- To focus on the visual design and how/where/when you will use it, not how the server and its services will work in detail.
- To make a design of one of the concept shells.
