NETWORK TECHNICIAN WINDOWS NT
My name is Hakan Bondesson and I'm currently working in a small company where I'm responsible for the accounting and computer-network. I have decided that it's time for me to move on with my life and to grow both as a person and within my profession as a network technician.
I graduated 1988 from Portage high school in Indiana and 1989 from "gymnasiet" in Landskrona, Sweden. I have also studied one semester at University of Wisconsin-Parkside and two semesters at University of Lund.
As I see it, more and more companies are starting to use Windows NT as a networking operating system. As a result of this I started to take a course last fall (-97) to become a Diplomated networking technician on Windows NT 4. I will be finish in the end of May. Behind this course stands one of the best known technical universities in Sweden, Chalmers Tekniska Högskola, Guthenburg.
The litterature that we are studying is Microsoft Press and is preparatory towards Microsoft certification MCSE.
We have gone thru everything from installing Windows NT server and workstation to configuring DHCP service, WINS service and regular administration, such as setting up user accounts and permissions etc.
In the winter of 93-94 I studied a course that was concentrated on LAN and computer communication. Last spring (-97) I became CNA on Novell 4.
At my current job I have developt the company's computer network, from have been one stand-alone computer till today, a network running Novell 3.12, 10 users. All workstations are using Windows 95. I do all purchase regarding computer hardware and software.
On my free time I like to play golf and soccer.
